"I am a fireman and I look death in the face, not every day, fortunately, but it can happen. So you always have to keep a calm look, gaze it straight in the eye and welcome it. Life is like that and a professional has to perform his job well. Sooner or later it's everyone's turn..."

Zombie-like cold eyes, yet lively and deep thanks to the paint's brightness, emerge from the pitch black. Coarse sea salt was used to emphasize the gaze. It seem like the eyes are about to get out of the canvas. The teeth are faintly forming a stern puppet-like smile. A devastating internal fire blazing suddenly terrifies the bravest of the brave firefighters.
