About me and how
I got here

I have a degree in neuroscience and a passion for philosophy. Hence my interest in the mind and its recesses.

Human beings deal with the experience of life not as a "tabula rasa," but always through dreams, imaginations, fears, guilt and fears: this is why Cassier speaks of the "tangled web of human experience."

Attempting to understand this complexity requires a narrative, which I try to implement through my art, capable of bearing witness to the complicated human experience.

I started drawing a little bit self-taught and a little bit by going to a workshop after school with my teacher Nico. I learned the art, and, as the saying goes, I put it aside. Literally. Between study and work, the time devoted to paintings was increasingly scarce, limited to a few hours on weekends. Then the pandemic, and time magically appeared. I managed to build up a decent collection of work and advertise myself through website, social and exhibitions.

I work with acrylic and do black and white portraits, because I like to paint the visible, and the chiaroscuro gives an extraordinary effect to the paintings. Wonderful. I work with paints and do abstracts, because I like to paint the invisible and paint colors are the brightest ever. Wonderful.

And that's all of it. Or at least, a part of the Everything....

Life is continuous evolution. Sons, it is known, try to kill their fathers. But even Kronos is always trying to devour his children. Fortunately Gaea, the earth mother of all living things, now so vilified and threatened, eternally seeks to oppose his destructive drive. As for me, with sincere humility, I try to take sap and inspiration from my "giants," believing that each of them has been able to express resounding concepts, adding valuable pieces in the path to the search for truth.
